It’s a trap, don’t fall into it!!

When the 2019 elections are just few weeks ahead, dozens of Bollywood stars have been caught on camera post political propaganda just to earn cash ahead of the national elections.
These well-known personalities are demanding high amount to promote the political parties agenda and are charging wooing amount ranging from INR 2 lakh to INR 50 lakh per message and even some undisclosed personalities have even quoted a fee of INR 20 crore for an eight-month contract. However, they are still some good actors who refused to mislead fans just to earn some cash and their names include Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi, Raza Murad and Saumya Tandon that refused to take to post content favouring any political party ahead the 2019 elections.
According to the Cobrapost, its reporters approached almost 36 celebrities posing as employees of a public relations firm representing three major parties including Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress and Aam Aadmi Party and most of the times, they initiated the talks by interacting with the official agents or managers of the stars. The reporters said that majority of the celebrities showed their intentions to promote a particular political party on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and were ready to do it for a fee.
This is not the end of the story, some actors and TV personalities even demanded the entire amount to be paid in cash just to avoid the tax liability and promised to deliver strong and powerful message which can mislead the fans.
All these unscrupulous promotion of political parties by the celebrities whom who we trusted a lot and spend huge amount on watching their movies and shows is really a shameful task especially doing it just to earn money. We all are living in an independent country where everyone is free to express his/her opinion but misleading the fans just to earn some peanuts should not be accepted and we as a responsible citizen of our county should not fall in this trap and should favour only that party whom we trust rather than changing the mind due to these paid promotions.
