Panaji (Goa) :- The chief minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar died on Sunday evening after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Parrikar was the ex-defence minister of India during the modi lead government of NDA.
Demise of Parrikar results a huge loss of Goa BJP. Indian political aisle is completely mournful due to his death. Having a very preety persona parrikar was the first iit’an to be the cm of a state.
It is noteworthy that during his incumbency as a defence minister, Indian army successfully gratified the famous surgical strike in 2016.Due to his death the national flag will fly at half mast on Monday in the national capital and will half mast for seven days in the state.
The exequies of Manohar Parrikar will be done on Monday evening with state honour at 5 pm, before it his mortal remains will arrive at BJP office and then cultural academy for last sight of the public.
