Car Pollution is Causing Asthma to 350,000 Indian kids
According to the latest Lancet study that analysed 194 countries, it is revealed that car pollution is causing asthma in 350, 000 Indian kids. The traffic pollution is making children weak and is causing in children in India, the second largest after China.
The study that was published in the Lancet Planetary Health, also disclosed that the largest number of cases (760,000) of traffic pollution related asthma was registered in China. The reason to this can be the fact that China has the second largest population of children and the third highest concentration of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) which is an indicator of traffic pollution.
The US (240,000), Indonesia (160,000) and Brazil (140,000) are the next countries in line that are witnessing largest burdens.
