Amid Crises, Jet Airways Suspends International Flights
Jet Airways has suspended all of its international flights due to the financial crises the company is witnessing. The airline has more than USD 1 billion of debt and is seeking a financial support to avoid collapse and come out of the situation.
The airline recently grounded 10 more planes over unpaid fees to leasing firms and the airline is now operating 14 planes. Jet Airways flights to London, Amsterdam and Paris from Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru that were scheduled to take off on April 12 has now being cancelled for operational reasons.
The airline earlier has more than 100 aircraft in its fleet and flies on 600 domestic and 380 international routes. The Indian government is taking all the steps to ensure passenger safety after flights were cancelled.
